No, the gland nut holds the strut insert in to the housing.

Yeah, I paid 60 for the euro plate filler. I cant order them from dealer anymore. Wont allow euro stuff unless gray market car

Center BMW and Tischer would not let me order the euro plate filler. Try it.

BMA cant get it either. They can sell it if its old stock, but nothing new.
