What do I use to get the fan off my car? Nothing fits behind it...

I bought a cheap $10 SAE wrench at autozone and went to down with a grinder to make it thin. Worked like a charm. I don't remember the size but you could just make a cardboard template to compare

A hammer and a flat piece of metal works for the fan. I have a tool to get te fan off but for 318is fans

Factory pliers worked lol but my thumb took a hit >.<

i had to go to the yard to get a fan clutch and a fan but only found a clutch super easy to get off if you have the tools, 3 years ago it took me like an hour to get one off an
m20.

i was bummed as well when i found out i had an open diff! which by the way sucks ass! now im running a 3.91 vlsd i get better gas mileage and more fun!

at first i thought a vlsd was a bad idea, but now that i have been daily driven my car, its great better than the 4.10 i like not having to shift every 10mph miles..
