Someone purchased a set of those JBL's so i'm waiting to hear feedback on fitment. They are pretty beefy and will required some clearanceing. I'd suggest listening to a stock system done up properly before spending the dough on new components. Heck you might like the stocks with a good amp and nice headunit. I know i'm pretty happy with mine. Or at least i was when i had a great headunit.

Now go to the junkyard and get some early model carpeted front kick panel covers. Should make fitment easier.

We can always make some fiberglass enclosures as a last resort. By we i mean you make while i supervise while drinking a brew. In other news i have 3lbs of powder in. The green is really nice and is a lighter hue then the rattle can high temp stuff. I also have light grey and gunmetal.

Or back where it didn't! ba-dum pssh.

Pretty sure no E30s have a clutch switch interlock to prevent starting, so it will most likely be an ignition switch problem (assuming you've checked that the battery is alright). You've got a manual, yes? If not, I think there is a brake switch interlock so make sure that's good.

Hahah... Yes its a 5-speed the car starts without pressing in the clutch lol, battery is also brand new... mechanic said to check the ground, the ground on these e30's suck? so I will do that... next will be to check ignition switch then... thanks

The ground does kinda suck after a while, so clean up the terminals.
Another thing to try: jump pins 14 and 11 at round diagnostic connector in the engine bay and see if that works. If not, you can check for battery voltage at the starter leads. Those are a pain to get to under the manifold, but it can be done.
