My AC works, but it horribly bogs up my engine, so I only usually use it on the freeway and if I'm not using cruise control. Feels icy cold, but I'd rather have my windows down to eat the exhaust every chance I get

i had it on my e30, loved it. i have it on my e36m and also love it. wouldn't go a day without it, unless of course the temp is nice outside.

I use my AC in the M3 all the god damn time. My E30 doesn't have it (of course) but the days of me having a DD with no AC are definitely over.

If you charged it and it's not working something else is wrong. R134 will do the job.

R134 worked in my car just never got cold enough. Would only get down to around 60*f

Oh, I gotcha. Go for the Freeze 12 then, that stuff kicks ass!

Lol. Yea I was thinking freeze 12 because when I looked over the r134 retrofit thread mentioned that pre 87 barrier hoses won't even hold r134 in the system. So figured freeZe 12 may just be a better alternative before I tear my system apart. Any leads on where to get fittings & cans of freeze 12?

also, on this AC topic...i have R134 retrofit. most of the time i don't use it, but those inland days stuck in traffic...make it worth it.

I buy new fuel pumps and change every 120k to 150k.
