Not entirely true. If you have enough of a deposit on the house and you can prove to the bank that you make enough to affoard payments, you do not need to have credit.

How many tens of thousands of dollars would you end u wasting in higher interest mortgage rates. Doing something little like setting up autopay on your cellphone and car insurance through your credit card and then paying off your balance every month goes a long way. I had a 720 credit score when i was in my early 20s.
