FYI, 87-88 325i had L shaped valves. Your 89 should have a T valve from the factory. Many things happen to a car over 25 years though.

Well that and then I filed a claim against them with the housing board, and they brought pictures of all the shit that was wrong with a different apartment, I brought pictures of my apartment when I moved out...and I won, housing board said they have to pay me in full, then I get a cease and desist letter from their lawyer saying I was being defamatory against them and that they are going to take me to small claims court not to have to pay me and that I owe them for damages to the unit.

Holy shit, how were you being defamatory?, I've not been around you much but, you don't seem like the type to meddle in peoples business and or make a big stink about that crappy property.

Call their bluff, get an attorney and sue them for threatening you, only for exposing them + any and all punitive damages because all of the sudden you can't even perform in bed due to the accusations they have lifted upon you..........;)

Well looks like i'll be needing a new steering rack!

The grinding is getting worse and it happens when I max out either direction. Looks like most places want $175.00 plus the core then labor on top of that.

I think i'll go for a rebuilt e36 m3 rack.
