Chaz don't do it bro, like ed said .....it's not worth losing friendships over for. I have had plenty of friends/co-workers try to pull me in on those in the past and tell them no and you should walk away from it too.

Finally put some Poly RTABs in the car, feels a lot more planted in the rear. Next step is to pull a rear subframe from the JY and powdercoat it, bushings, reinforcement and adjustable LCA

Can someone provide insight on oil cooler line replacement? New lines are expensive and I keep seeing threads on Google about getting them rebuilt or modded. Which route should I go in terms of being cheaper yet still solid? I'll cough up the cash for new ones if need be but I'm trying to see other options.

Don't know what new costs but I would look into Aeroquip hose and fittings. They may have what you need and would be top notch quality. I have a feeling that by the time you find exactly what you need, get it ordered and get the tools/materials needed to make them you will be better off just getting new OEM. If you were already set up with this sort of stuff it would be much more cost effective.

ETA oil filter housing = no oil cooler. Cheapest solution.

Scored two OEM turn indicators off a 535i for $16. Once again the junkyard saves me like 50 bucks

So looks like I'm replacing the slave cylinder, it's not a particularly difficult job right?

Easy. I also would replace the hose. Btw make sure nobody goes near the pedal while installing. only after you have bolted it in go for the bleed.
