Yea i heard about them in vw bug wheels, but after further research apparently they only work correctly on tires larger than 75 height

how would you all feel, if you had an ad, set a good price for an item.
someone then contacts you, texts you throughout the day then at the end of the day, that individual ask for 50% off your asking price?
after the fact, the price was already decent blah blah blah.
        how would you feel? seriously.

if there was already agreement on the price then whoever contacted you is a real piece of shit.

if there was no agreement or mention of the price until the end of day offer then i dont think its out of line.

to be fair. i deal with this bullshit on craigslist with some of my leftover porsche parts. so now anyone who inquires about them just gets the "dont waste my time this is my bottom dollar if youre not interested then get lost" line. it really drives me up the wall when people offer 60% less than what you have an item listed for just because you have "obo" next to the price.

he asked me how much without a certain item with it.... and i replied with a better counter offer. but heres the thing, its not the first time this particular person did this. once he told me, oh i can get an after market one brand new. and this was months back.

i hope he is not a R3v member.

people know what these parts go for, they just want things for free.
but at the same token, there are some greedy ass sellers.

but dont people get butt hurt and flag your ad because you put "firm offer, cant afford it? dont waiste my time!"

sometimes i wish the Bmw community wasnt as popular, or should i say faddish.

if i were you i wouldnt even bother responding to this dude again then.

people flag my stuff all the time because im not looking to firesale parts.

trust me the bmw community isnt that bad. some of the porsche people i deal with are fucking asinine.

for example im selling a complete oem front bumper in good shape for $700 obo (READ: offer me $600 and ill take it) that retails for OVER $2k, scrap yards get at least $800-1k if they have all the trim mine does. i get emails and texts constantly asking me to sell my "worthless" oem bumper for $300.

                          No

I've had some of these completely insane lowball offers too. But it happens even more with newer model BMW parts. On the other hand, I've had some R3V guys like IronE30 totally style me out with some hard to find parts at great prices.
