    Wheel redrilling?

Anybody know a place in SoCal they would reccomend to weld and redrill a set of aluminum wheels?

I use Tru Wheel for all of my wheel needs but they don't do this type of thing.

I think the place you're looking for is called LAX wheels.

You have or had a set of 5's redrilled, correct? What was the cost?

Try inland wheel center/motorsport technology, in San Bernardino, it'll be on your way when you come buy my car ;)

Don't go to these guys! I went to them when I cracked one my hre wheels. They quoted me 125.00 dollars and two days to repair the crack and told me that they don't just lay down a caterpillar bead but they also grind and buff the wheel down so it wasn't even noticeable. Long story short, they took two days longer then they quoted me. Then when they called me to tell me it was ready for pick up on the fourth day, I go out there only to find out they haven't even started. And when I recieved it back at the end of the business day it looked like they took an angle grinder to my rim! It was so fukt up and wavy it look like a retarded blind kid had done the job! I was so fukin pissed I just told the guy off and had it repaired elsewhere. I HATE those guys! - David

Rbmotoring's work is pretty good but they charge 200 just for a redrill I believe. Filling will be extra. By the looks of it I recommend lax since those style fives turned out awesome!

LAX can do anything. I always take a stroll around an looked at all the fucked up wheels that you would swear could never be fixed. They can fix your wheel even if your missing a huge chunk. But they are going up. Mine were $160, wishno was $180 but they wanted $200 when i picked them up cause they filled all the holes and i hear they charged joey $240. I can check to see if my price is still $200 if i get any spare time. Maybe monday.

Check out this beauty. They were fixing it and re chromeing for like $250

i've never seen a fill-and-drill on an e38 style5 before but goddamn that is CLOSE to the center hole. i'd be really nervous about that.

Yup. The one on the upper right hand corner even looks likes it's in the center hole...

they are really close. but its a risk you have to take.

Although, none here running re drilled style 5s, I don't think has had any problems...
