Got a quote for 6 months from him for $216. Thought that was amazing so I tell Andre that I would take it. When it came down to paying he told me it was $404. When I asked him why it was now almost double he told me it was for his service charge of $175 but never told me anything of a service fee. AAA is offering me the same coverage for $274 for months also with no "service fee".1988 E30 335i - 1987 E30 327i - 1987 E30 327iS Pickup - 1973 2002 Project

Even if you consider it $2 a day it doesn't make sense. You're telling me you do something for every customer every day? That is absolutely not possible. Hidden fees are what get people pissed off. When somebody asks for a quote they want to know what they are paying, that's what a quote is.
If AAA and Mercury are $130 and $110 cheaper per 6mo period than your company you are doing something wrong.Comment

Yea its possible for me to be doing something for a customer everyday.. and just like any other job that has its fees in its job so does mine.. there is no hidden fees and quote was given at the price the company asks for and i include plus my service fees.. AAA AND Mercury dont have a personal agent working with the client.. They have you call a 800 # and be on hold and once you get a ticket or a nasty dui they will drop you in a heartbeat..Comment

Look guys, I have seen nightmares of unpaid claims, bad accidents, long to no payouts. It doesn't take much to have an accident in Los Angeles with all the people. Clients need the help. They think that calling a 800 number directly to the insurance company is going to take care of them. wrong. when you don't have an agent, you are totally the victim of whatever the decision of the company is. that's the long and short of it. You have no say. When you have an broker, that broker can do the work and represent you and fight for your rights in an accident or situation. that's peace of mind and that's what i sell. im not just a price tag. so yeah, you can beat the price for sure. it's fine. people do it all day long but when it comes down to it, you need someone there when the shit hits the fan.Comment

Actually his previous insurance ($295 per 6 months) was through Mercury and the agent was in Pasadena. Yes, an agent!Comment
