Have you checked your vacuum hoses yet?
Einstein57 mentioned the CPS which is where my problem laid, changed all of the stuff you mentioned and nothing worked. Finally I decided to take it to the Castro's shop in SFV and 3 days later got a clean bill of helth for my e30.

Most e30s will be able to run on a sort of broken by working CPS, eventually they start with bull shit glitches like you mentioned. Give any of the locals a free beer since were trying to keep your hard earned money in your pocket, and lettting you fix the problem with DIY solutions..........;)

I would listen to this guy. if you change that CPS and it's still fudging then get up to Castro's.

when you did the tune up did you change the fuel filter? I was losing alot of power and had sputtering issues too... I took it to TNG in La Cresenta and they actually looked at everything and found that the fuel filter was all clogged up and was causing the spark plugs and everything to run foul...

It runs smooth again... Hopefully its something that simple and nothing to costly or complicated...

I'll try to make it to the EuroMeet too...

Well get at me this weekend guys, we could have our own mini meet of our own! ha

And yeah im going to try and replace the CPS and see if that works, the first owner took really good care of the car, but i bought it from some run down neighbor hood in LA and the guy didnt really didnt take good care of it, and i want to start doing shit to it already but i want to make sure i dont need to put anymore money into this problem before i spend the money somewhere else.. sorry i cant make it to the meet tonight guys! i promise next time for sure!

you're a little out of the way fro a quick trip but if for some reason you're ever in the Ventura/Oxnard/Camarillo area, you could stop by my shop and see if we cant figure it out. I have a spare M20 we could pull parts off of to check too. Let me know if you're game and I will see what we can work out.

I'm very well known in the socal e30 circuit, you can ask anyone that posted in this thread about me and I'm sure they will tell you whats up.

Damnn bro ventura is a ways out there, i would totally be down, but driving my car with this problem is a pain in the ass.. I really need to get it worked out, its driving me crazy.

Yeah the thing is though i when i changed the plugs they all looked fine, and nothing really out of the ordinary, and there is no power lag or anything like that so i dont know, it seems like there is just so many things that it could be..

valve adjustment is needed. If that dosnt solve the problem , then you know its somthing bad lol Valve adjustment takes about 30mins , could be half the time with 2 ppl
