What happened to you losers last night. I showed up at 9 and no one was there

Dude I need to grab your number. We bailed a little before 9 to go do some drinking since it didn't seem like there was going be anyone else showing. The parking lot is chill, cut off from the through traffic so we won't get any randoms rolling in, but still plenty going on + food spots.

Keeping it sundays works fine for me, but if the Celtics and lakers are still playing next week, which i assume they will be, i won't be there till the game is over.

I think we should start it next week.. we tested it out this weekend, it looked good for a meet. But i will start the thread for next week and hopefully more people will show, we need more of an advance notice for a meet..

I'm in favor of keeping it on Sunday night, and moving it to the new spot on Torrance Blvd.

Hell ya we can do that but where were you thinking of doing this? are you in the Southbay area? not sure if I speak for all but tomorrow might be off if we are really planning on changing venues.

Okay and on a more serious note.
I believe the new updated meet should still be on a sunday, i don't see why changing it to a saturday would do anything. people have a bunch of weekday meets, cerritos is thursday, walnut is Wednesday, and so on.
Now if everyone votes that it should be on a saturday then so be it, its cool with me.
The new spots seems legit, i think it would be even better on a sunday night but thats just me, There is plenty of food to eat, take your pick. and plenty of room and near by resources.
I would like to get this meet bigger, but not that it sucks but id really like to see some new faces showing up..

Once we make it official and actually figure out time and day. I will offcially start the SOUTHBAY MEET thread. This one died and came back, but i think we should start fresh :D

AND FOR THE BBQ IDEA

And i reallly like this idea ;) start a monthly bbq meet, maybe at a good park with public bbqs or something. it might get kinda hectic at someone house lol

Right on, sounds fair enuff... Plus, I haven't been out to any local meets in a long time so who am I to start callin' shots... So did you decide to keep it sundays? or Saturdays? and are you still meeting tonight?

That I don't know. It's up to what everyone else thinks, but it's my understanding that next weeks will be at the new spot on Torrance Blvd., but I don't know for sure whether it will be Sat. or Sun.

This place is just as good as crossroads, and I think it is a bit closer to the people that have actually been going to the meets, it has a habit burger which is just as good as In-N-Out, as well as a a few other good food places that are all inexpensive.
Also the area is kind of busy on Saturday nights, but right in front of the Giulianos we almost have our own little section that is empty and divided from the rest of the lot. It's hard to explain but if you come to the meet you'll see what I'm talking about.



Meet was originally Sunday nights, but some people thought more people would be willing to come out if it wasn't a work night. So last night (Saturday) we tested out the new spot on Torrance Blvd. and Hawthorne.

My bad... I didn't check and made an ass of myself for assuming... I know where that is... Why there? Crenshaw in Crossroads is better... Next to In n Out with a bigger parking lot... It's been used alot by other car groups... I've seen bug meets, jdm meets, even Ford meets... at night, there's plenty of parking...

Tomorrow? I thought this was for Sunday Night Meets? You guys planning a Monday meet? If so, I work tomorrow and get off at 7ish so I could stop by if it's in Torrance...
