Smilies is just a nickname right? Because they have a little smilie mouth. He has euro ellipsoids which I believe are euro smilies.

I have us ellipsoids, I used to have sealed aswell.
I thought that there were only
      euro ellipsoids
      us. ellipsoids
      sealed beams
and those rare euro buckets that look similar to sealed but have a seperate bulbs

Those are the same as clavinzero's. He doesn't have pics of the headlight holes being drilled just the fog light caps

Hmm I see. Did he drill out the female part where the pigtails plug in and have the stock wires come through there?
Pics would totally clear up everything with a DDM kit and headlights similar to mine

Sorry for the crappy, dirty, late pics but this should do it. Just use female bullet connectors for the high beams.

Solder and shrink wrap are your friends. If you don't have one get it from the 99cent store.

I like to mount my ballast underneath for a clean look. My ballast came with a metal cage. I just used one of the existing holes to bolt it up.

I was wondering if it would work if i solder the stock wires right onto the prongs that are in the cap where the plug would go and spliced the HID wires to the stock wires inside?
