I'm super psyched guys, we have 2 more weeks and even people outside of the forum are interested in coming to the PICNIC. I can't even believe how flaky most of SoCal R3v bacomes, when we're put to the test.

personally I think the people in SoCal needed more than 3 and a half weeks to plan. Thats a big trip to negotiate with school, family, work etc. I mean we all got like 2 months to plan for Dockweiler. Maybe if we had more time there would be more people able to show up.

I can understand where you're coming from Bro but the rest of the local flakes who are always talking about drives BBQ this and that and then you present something and they're all like it's too far I don't got enough time or money, blah blah blah.

I wish we could do this type of thing all the time, I love driving my car on long trips.

been thinking the same, this is a chance to show how SoCal does things right,
hopefully more people come through.

oh and Edwin, do you happen to know if we can get access to a 12v outlet?
id rather cook the rice there, but i doubt it feasible.... :?

I know what you mean dog, I've been thinking about what if enough people don't show up but I had a conversation with a guy from SD and they are going to be like 40 deep so far.
As far as the rice getting cooked there the only other option is a converter for the cigarrette lighter or one of those butane stoves. I'll have a big enough cooler to keep the sushi cold if need be man.

This meet sounds really fun. I want to go but im not sure if i can make it. Everytime i commit to a meet either my car breaks down or i get caught up in work. If i do show up it wont be empty handed tho.

I always drive more than an hour to dockweiler or bimmerfest;)

when were there, nothing better than fresh food!!!

i'll bring kerosene and a lighter...i'm sure we can find a wing'd civic somewhere in SD.
