Im really disappointed at all the negativity (warranted or not). I was so excited to know that it was being held not even 5 minutes from my house so that perhaps I could plan a post-Bfest shindig at my parents house.

Lets not forget, guys, that when it was held at the Earl Warren Fairgrounds, in Santa Barbara, that was also just a huge parking lot. But I do agree that it takes away the "weekend getaway" nature of it. I used to make it a 3-day-thing we'd caravan up to SB with all the SoCal homies and drink ourselves stupid for 3 days.

Well, its not going to be there anymore so why wish for something thats out of the question? Id rather have a 10" cock, but "rather having" only makes it worse on me because its being pissed about something I can do nothing about. Just come out for the homies and meet some new ones! Thats the main reason I go, because its the one time a year I get to see some people. I dont even walk around and look at the cars anymore because I know all the people whos cars I admire (old school cars) and I can just stay in one place and hang out and socialize with old friends!!

Hopefully there is a better turnout then last year. It needs to be moved to somewhere more enticing for travelers. You can't compare the Rose Bowl to Santa Barbara... :roll:

what do you mean? they say they had over 2000 cars last year, their biggest turnout yet. I dont think theyll get the point of you not going when they have more people going there than the last place.

You cant satisfy everyone. WHen it was in SB, some people were saying it was too far. Now its in L.A. and people are still complaining. Not the same people, mind you.
