So in the process of unfucking their transmission, these guys won the Most Heroic Fix award :D

At one point I walked by, and they just had two transmissions more or less completely apart on the asphalt. Badass.

No, we were the Gay Tank with the penis for the canon.

Pic is of James and Alexei trying to figure out WTF we were doing.

We swapped a good selector fork from our E tranny into the I tranny and then put the E bell-housing on it. In six hours under an EZ-Up, we were able to diagnose, repair, and install our hybrid-tranny. Not bad for a group who have never really worked on a transmission haha. We'll be keeping it as a spare.
