Front plate ticket while parked

Lame. I don't mind having a front plate, but my e46 didn't even come with one.

Back in 2007 I got 3 tickets within 3 months for $25 each from Santa Monica parking enforcement.

I use to get the front plate fix it tickets EVERY NIGHT from the same cop until I finally put one on. I really didnt want to put a plate on our vette because it was an eye sore so i found a hide-away plate bracket that allowed me to slide the plate under the front bumper.

They do this in Portland now, too. It's $50 here.

New BMWs don't come with a provision for front plates. You're supposed to use plastic tapping screws and screw it into the bumper. My buddy has a new X5M and refuses to screw a plate into the bumper. He just keeps paying the fines instead.

New BMWs do have a oem front plate holder but yea you need to screw them into your bumper for my 10 e90 and 11 f10 both have the holder from the dealership its free install. And since your friend has an X5M he has enough money to pay those tickets. lol

I got my 6th no front plate ticket last month. I talked to a few cops around town and got the "ok" before deciding to go ahead and do it. Just hammered my MD plate to fit inside my transport plate. Also great because it hides the "historic" on the bottom (rear has a plate cover that covers it). So far so good.

If you want to rock no plate, or a euro plate for a meet, show or photo-shoot, it's just a couple screws....

Got one courtesy of San Francisco Metropolitan Transit Authority when I was a junior in HS, taking my SATs. Got it cleared for $15, moved on though.

Matt i just got one last week infront of my house too...u can save yourself like 10 bux if u slap the plate on and go to the sheriffs dept. and get it corrected then send that in with the ticket...i believe it was $17 at the SD and $10 after it was corrected for the ticket

Happened to me when parked in front of a school. Now I rock the euro with my normal plate numbers and no cop has messed with me yet. Just the other day I passed by one clocking people and was also following a HP, nothing yet. But also my car doesn't look like a piece of shit either, not saying yours is.
