I honestly wish I went with something more appropriate for my 15x7 wheels. Reading on the GRM forums, 195s or 205s would be more appropriate, give better response and talk more through the wheel vs the 225 RS3s on my 15x7s. It's recommended to use x8 or x9 with the 225s. I did enjoy them, but they do not complain. When over taxed (push) it feels like its skipping, no audible noise to also let you know whats happening. I do want to run the TRM C1s 15x8 sooner than later, but for now I might as well wear the RS3 to the chords. I ran them at 42psi front and 38 psi rear when warmed up. I should have dropped both another 2-3psi I do believe, but it's been recommended if running on the narrower wheel to up the pressure as the RS3 sidewall is softer.
Still debating the drive as I am always worn out after an AutoX just from meeting the many cool peeps out there.... On the drive back from Camarillo Airport after running there I had to take a small nap, and that's only 1.2 hrs out....Comment

Depending if one has a changed (or has a selection of) diff ratios, 225/45 can actually be very tempting due to the shorter rollout. I have a 3.25 (vs my 2.93) that I need to rebuild....so I stuck my 2.93 back in and chose the shorter rollout. (Don't know if you know that or not, I'm not wanting to be an Internet Armchair Engineer ;-)
Redbull seriously fucks with my system. ;-)
A good article about the latest tires for us

Brett I wouldn't do 225/50s. U will have rubbing issues most likely. Just do 45s if u can.

I'm thinking of maybe emailing speedventures to see if we could get a group buy price cause so many r3vers are going. Good idea?
