looking for mechanical help/advice

Hi all,
as you might see im new to this so forgive me if this is the wrong thread.
i recently moved to OR from CA and left behind an e30 i wanted to work on, i plan on going back for it sooner rather than later. getting delivered seems pointless unless i have no other option, but i'd rather put money into the car itself instead of paying some dude to drag it behind a truck.

since im not mechanically inclined i need to know what is recommended work in order for me to drive safely from CA to OR myself. i have an idea of what i want to start with but need a bit of guidance

I chose this thread because one of the replacements i want to start with is the cooling system and might as well do timing belt since its in the same area. thus leading me to need someones help with timing belt and pretty much anything else i might need, please advise, i would appreciate all suggestions

We need to know more about your car, but do the timing belt at a minimum. If you describe any issues we can point you to what your car may need.
