Where is everyone buying their 24v?

So I searched around for a bit and couldn't find anything on this so I thought I'd ask. Where is everyone sourcing their 24v engines?

The most common answer I've seen is at the yard, but frankly, I'm not down to buy some mystery engine. Nor do I have the time to go down on a regular basis to wait for one that hasn't been raped yet to pop up. I'd rather pay a little more for one that I know has good compression and a proper leak down test.

CL doesn't have shit it seems.. so, eBay the only other option?

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Craigslist... with patience. Lots of it. I got my m50 for $200, good-ish condition with 150k on it.

Here's one that I wonder why it's not gone: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pts/2858912945.html

From other people that have built a 24v car, and buy the whole car off of them ;-)

^^^Yes...that I have. The downside (which really bums me out) is the complete understanding of the swap process. Reading up on it only clears so much up, but not enough.
