He's looking for a 325i/is 2-door 5-speed, budget is in the low $3k range. He's not in a hurry to buy, so we're keeping our eyes peeled on Craigslist waiting for a good deal.

Cool, thanks. He's not deadset on the I, he would be fine with a nice E. Definitely hit me up when you're ready to sell.

My choices are Cal Meritime, Sac State, or community college. I don't really wsnt to attend cal meritime or sac state, so I am really considering going to Mesa Community College in San Diego and teansferring into UCSD or SDSU after.

Hardest decision I've been faced with.
Do the community college thing. Trust me, your mind may change in the next year or two in regards to where you wanna go and what you wanna do, and it will be much cheaper to figure that stuff out while knocking out transfer stuff at a cc. If you're really set on SD, check out the TAG program for UC system in general, there's some good opportunities there.

+1 Nothing wrong with community college!

Sometimes the belt just shears off some teeth and that allows the timing to be off a few teeth. In any case one should pull the timing cover to inspect.

Bentley in .pdf format is listed in this thread here on R3v.http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=164030

Download the .pdf and save. Then view on laptop, tablet, home computer whatever. Then either print off the pages needed for the work to be performed or if your like me just look at the information on your ipad while out wrenching.

Took it a step further and added it to my Public Dropbox account in an uncompressed un password protected format. Just the straight .pdf format. You never know how long that other link will last on the free server that its hosted on. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/46175410/BM...ice_Manual.pdf

Give it 5 minutes from this posting for my local dropbox folder to sycronize and upload the file to my remote dropbox folder.

Cool, thanks. I might just buy one sometime anyway, I prefer to have the book in my hands.

Does anyone here have a valve cover bolt seal for the m42? (Not sure if its universal between engines). I just need ONE, my stupid mistake on losing one of those seals and ended up damaging it. Thanks y'all.

I have checked it out awhile ago, but from what I remember it does not support my major (mechanical engineering). I will make sure to double check.

I need to give sdsu amd ucsd a call to see what classes I should be taking for transferring, so I don't take any unneeded classes.

I have three friends I know goung to sdsu, which is where I wanted to go in the first place, so that is good. Another buddy was going to do the CC route with me, but just decided to enroll into Fresno State yesterday.

I need to do a little more research, but cost wise, CC seems like the absolute best thing for me.

I want to be able to have my e30. Someone tell me if that damn evap pressure test is supposed to be done. I'm tempted to just spend the money on another smog... shiittt
