Why not do the metal apron from a late model? They are plentiful in the junkyard, the best looking solution, along with probably being the cheapest. Only downside is it takes time to cut off and then trim to fit. It's not necessary to weld it to your car or make it permanently attached.

You may even be able to talk me into lending you a hand at picknpull cutting one off with my cordless sawzall I picked up recently.

I got an 87 and on the intake air box closes to engine there is a little oval box, in it is some type of thermocouple coil. Mine broke off but car still runs fine. Anyone know WTF it is? Can't find it on realoem.

it's a barometric pressure sensor, it'll run fine without it. does yours still have a vac line going to it?

it senses ambient air pressure, infers air density and does a trim adjustment to the AFM signal. at sea level and near-sea-level it doesn't do much at all.

No vacuum line just a plug. I can solder back on since that's all that happened to it, solder joint broke

Update: So after a little magic, I found this degenerate's phone number. I know this may seem a little (very much so) hypocritical, but I also know that some r3vers like to have fun with people.

So I give you this (505)312-9041

I would partake myself, but seeing as they knew my wife's number and very specific details about her, my daughter, and me, I would rather keep my number away from them for as long as possible.

                        Happy hunting!

Shrink wrap and take to USPS. I have shipped Jeep Fender flares that exact way. Granted Jeep flares can take alot of abuse and still look good . Door Cards? Maybe not so much. Insure for twice the value = Profit

I'm in Fremont for this week, visiting from LA. Where are the good roads around here? I've been up and down highway 9 many times, but that's like 30 min in the southbay – I've been there twice already this week!
