Yeah, runs but overheats, which turns me off becuse I wanted to try and resell the motor/tranny to make back some money.

you could always do a cooling system overhaul but you don't even want to keep the engine.
and the waterpump on the m20 is unfortunately part of the timing system :/


overhauling the cooling system in my e21 was way to god damn easy. i loved it.

"It only needs Windshield, Rear Brakes and Head Gasket work. It's in the Shop now and it can be done for $1200 Parts and Labor."

They don't say overheat specifically, but what else does a bad HG do?

squirt oil, mix water and oil, loss of compression in certain cylinders.

bad bad things that the motor should not be ran under.

i sorta skimmed over it i thought that was a list of maintenance done to it

yeah its basically all bad.
unless you wanna rebuild an m20 i would not buy it hahah.


when i bought my car it was overheating and it ended up blowing a head bolt :/

1k. and yes it has been sitting for a long time, im almost done with the valve train (been going way too slow on it lol)
i need my friend to pull the remainder of the snapped head bolt out of the block and then i will start putting it back together.

oh 1k aint too bas, but by the end you will have put a lot more into it.

I paid 2k for mine, idle is a little high which I say is the worst about it. I still need to fix it, but the car runs fine so I forget bout it. haha. Oh, and it came with euroweaves! Which I traded for 14" basketweaves plus $700.

trust me i am not in on it at all..
once its running ($0 away) i will have invested about 1800 dollars, and it will have sport seats, 3-piece bbs wheels, and maybe a few other things.

i have plastic bumpers but im not sure if im up for the conversion.
might just sell them lol.

ebay/chrome cluster rings are plastic. sanding them will probably leave you with a brown/beige. the brushed ones levent sells are legit, but really pricey. the ebay ones look pretty cool at night but tacky during the day.


and dood, i LOVE RFs, split RFs even more! great find.
