you're using adapters currently, right? you should wind up in about the same place on an e36/ti setup.

when Robert was putting my suspension setup together he borrowed some e30m3 wheels to use as placeholders- they were just about exactly flush with unmodified fenders.

crap. with 18mm spacers up front my et13 7" fronts are past the fenders a bit, so it sounds like an e36-based 5-lug won't help at all in the front.

Instead of a ti setup I was just going to get rear e30m3 hubs, since they're available and I have the tools to do it.

would look kind of odd with e36 hardware in the front and e30m in the back... poke in the front, none in the rear. unless you mean something else?

no, that's what I mean. I have et25 8" rears with 215s on them, but 235s would be a lot more reasonable and would fit with M3 hubs in the back.

sounds like if I want to run these Weds in a more reasonable, less #camberstancebro style, e30m3 is the only way to go in the front. currently 205/45s up front, and I have to run max camber to get them to even tuck in during compression.

Sunroofs are metal panels that can be opened to be able to see the sun. This is excellent, because on a hot day, the cool air from the open panel will work to cool the car.

A moonroof is a glass panel that works the same as a sunroof, but can be closed at night yet have a sliding panel be openned to view the moon at night without allowing the warm air inside the car escape

Why can't the sun roof be the clear one that lets light through during the day but keeps an air tight seal in the car so you can run your ac?

Why can't the metal one be the moon roof? You open it at nught time so you get a super clear view of the moon?

Either way the terms can and will be used interchangable by many people. To me a moon roof is a type of sun roof. I will refer to my metal sliding panel that lets both the sun and cool air in as well as lets me view the moon as a sun roof. For all of you.
