Just zipped out 10 304ss v-bands after work for a friend. Going to drop them off and then order some parts with my new found wealth.

Lol I didn't charge him that much. I'm thinking more like poly subframe bushings, and poly rtabs.

Here's the video. Way overexposed and I don't think my buddy had worn a helmet before, lol.

Tight courses are fun, and that one was pretty open. In the last run to the lights I saw 7900 rpm. I could easily have gone for 3rd gear, but I didn't have time to shift. I left at least a second on the course, I had a really good time running on my 4th run till I discovered I had WAY too much speed going into the last gate going toward the back corner and the car decided to give up and understeer (a rare thing in that car). It could be my tires are starting to die, they do have 10 events on them.

I think I'm going to start doing a rain dance so the guy with the silver 510 won't show up and I can run the M3 and claim a back to back class championship.

All E46 non-Ms came with aluminum motors. The m52tu is basically an m54, very little in common with m52 you know and love. The "regular" aluminum m52 came in z3s iirc

ah, and i guess the Z3 got that after the aluminum m52 as well, hence my confusion. damnit.

Anything is fun given the right car ;) a long wheelbase 4 door wasn't the right car for that course. Tiny little datsun roadster, or E30 M3? Sounds great.
