So, I started my new job, just got my first paycheck, and immediately I notice the amount of taxes withheld from my check. It came out to around 7%; keep in mind, this is what I am used to, especially filing under Single-1.

This instantly sent me into a rage, not because my taxes were so low, but because my taxes at my last job was so high. Every paycheck I was being deducted almost 20% (came out to about 18%). I just looked over at my black hole of a deadbeat former employer's paystub, and it said I was filing Married with 2 Incomes; 0 dependent a, when I for sure knew something was up, especially since I KNOW I filled out Single-0 on my W-2.

This is really pissing me off, because now I look back at all the money I COULD potentially have, and all the weeks I BARELY scraped the bottom of the barrel, and realized they were all for nothing because my taxes were filed incorrectly, not by me. (If it was my fault, I'd own up to it, but I asked 5 other former/fellow employees and they said they were all also being deducted as Married 2-Income/0)

Now... What would be the process of getting back that lost wages that should rightfully be mine? Go apeshiz at my last employer? Being it up with my tax-lady? Would my revised/tax-return W-2 reflect it?

Kinda at a lose, since this is the first time it's happened to me

When you file your taxes, you will get back everything you may have overpaid. The withholding is only payments towards estimated taxes and this gets reconciled and squared up every year during the filing process.

You shouldn't worry about losing money, though you did lose cash flow. You effectively lent the US of A the money until you get your refund - assuming you are due one, which it sounds. I would file as soon as you can - which is typically early February as employers have until Jan 31 to mail your w-2 (this is not a recieve by date).

                  Another Vacaville e30. Awesome.

Have you lived there awhile? You said you're a student, what HS did you go to?

Entire 21 years of my life pretty much. Went to Will C Wood, live right around the corner from there. Dont see too many nice e30's in vacaville anymore.

That is awesome. Vanden kid here. Danny has a nice e30, and he is in Vacaville. I bet he doesn't bring it out to play much anymore now that he got a 2002 though.

I am San Diego for college but coming up for Thanksgiving, maybe there is a meet a few of us can roll to that week.

He has a calypso four door on silver rota slipstreams. He has an s52 swap. Same perosn most likely.

                          Seats. I need seats badly.

Whoever told me about the guy off on vwvortex, thanks. I got in contact with him, and hopefully will pick up a set of seats come thanksgiving break. Sucks I will have to make the drive with the shitty seats I have currently though.

Those are indeed the ones, gonna contact him if i get the funds together.
Need seats > wheels though and they are mint sport seats, the comforts gotta go. Figure if i have the cash for both it will be a more productive trip down south that i had to make anyway.
