theres lots of play in the drive shaft, maybe the tranny mount is why i couldn't tell if the tranny was moving when i was jiggling the drive shaft.

but, the tranny does make bad noises when im at low RPM's on corners, it will occasionally knock on the trans tunnel.

Your driveshaft is screwed. You need a new one if you have play in your u-joints; if not, it would seem you've got other problems..

teh u-joint is suppose to pivot, thats all its doing. and i can replace the u-joint itself if i really wanted to.

spence i took my driveshaft off and had it rebuilt on a sat morning cost $300. it was very worth it. it was done before lunch.
