Thinking of scrapping my s52 plans and going sleeper mode @ 2.7i with bolt ons. Chip, headers, exhaust, Cam, High Comp pistons, intake, e36 euro MAF conversion, Port/Polish head,etc.

Kinda wanting to keep the m20 in the iS after all the work I've put into her. It's more of an emotional thing now than it is a practical deal.

Think I can hit 200whp?

200WHP outa an m20 is about $4.5k if you do most of the work. but most likely you can get 210-215 for what you listed.

$4k is what I'm expecting my budget to come out around to. I understand there are better/cheaper swaps to achieve the power, but at the moment; it's a sentimental thing. Good thing that, since it's an m20 swap, money can be dumped staggeredly, not all at once like a DOHC swap.

The more I seriously consider an s52 swap as a possibility, the harder it is to picture ripping my m20 our and putting in something different. I feel like it would destroy the character of my iS.

Will the larger injectors cause the OBC MPG reading to be off as it would with an DOHC swap?

I have 17# injectors. Love them. My obc doesn't work, so I can't help you.

From what I hear, is that there is an injector chip that changes the signals through tuning of a specific # (pound rating) that fixes it. I have it bookmarked somewhere from when I was researching DOHC, but I'm too lazy to dig it up lol

I was hoping since it was a stock engine swap it, you would have to fidget that stuff. Oh well

no it doesnt fix the obc mpg readout have the stocks rebuilt or live w the obc being off

Hey guys, Halp

So I put the e30 up on the lift today and it was pouring out from a giant 5 inch crack in the back of the oil pan. Needless to say, the impact was so hard it pushed the pan into the subframe and cracked it before settling.

Does anyone have a pan I can pick up within the next 3-4 days? I need to have it soon if I want to get my car back and running by the en of the month
