thx for saving her. i know money is tight but it will be nice to see one saved rather than scrapped.

swapped a tranny for a local guy. forgot to charged him for the redline mtl. total money made on a 7 hour day, spent 2 hours trying to get the output flange nut off and had to drimmel off one of the Pressure plate bolts thx to the idiot that installed and stripped it. $60
but it's nice to see a friend on the road again

did you not read my post? i wasnt trolling.

he posted it as 1 owner. when it is a 2 owner car.
he also has a very bad history here.

i've always hated the m42, nothing new about that. when you have a lower power to weight than a prius, you dont have a sports car. you have an econobox. the m42 is garbage though and through. from cooling/vacuum lines to under powered tune and displacement to the worst transmission in an e30. all that the m42 offer is the worst for it's year.

Was worried about smog for no reason, car passed really clean. Turning in the paperwork tomorrow then registering it up north so I never have to deal with smog again :pimp:

Thanks. I'm happy to be saving one, and knowing she is still clean title is a huge blessing. I spent extra time today completely measuring and adjusting the front end so the panel gaps are completely perfect. I look at it now and I can't even tell it was wrecked.

Selling it was an option I was considering, but looking at it now; I am way too invested at this point and I would get minimal returns, if any

Hey guys
Let's play a game
It's called: "How screwed am I?"

1. E30 is fixed but went to go put coolant into reservoir

2. Coolant went in fine, but when we started the car to suck in the coolant, we start seeing white smoke coming off the exhaust in the engine bay

3. We wonder hat the heck it is, so we go over to look *insert coolantpuddle.jpg here*

4. We track down coolant leak for 20 minutes; pull the radiator, dizzy cap, hoses; everything I just spent all day yesterday and today replacing

5. Notice coolant isn't leaking from hoses or waterpump; notice coolant IS leaking from around the top of the block; bottom of the head 360 around the entire engine

7. How screwed am I?
