Anyone know the correct procedure for home-refinish (paint) for wheels?
yes, you now own an m3. do it right. take them to a wheel place and have them refinished. should be about $500.

Well, these are going to be the iS spares, so they don't need anything fancy. Gonna buy some adapters and run the m3 weaves because the tires are pretty good. The ones on the m3 are have been refinished and are flawless

I was debating whether or not to do a full restore, or just buy some Werth Vintage Silver Racing wheel paint and paint them.

they will poke out really really far if you use adapters. just run the m3 wheels on the m3

no they won't. they're 15x7 et20, 15x7 et0/2 depending on the adapters you get, which is not terrible to fit at all.

J - power wash them, hit them with aircraft paint stripper, power wash the paint off once it's detached, repaint with wheel paint.

The m3 has m3 weaves already haha :)

I'm talking about the spare set that came as a package deal.

I wouldn't mind adapters. It would be pretty much like running et0 wheels. I think I could make the poke work somehow

EDIT: Kronus, I'm assuming I would have to reprimer them as well?

                She be well

Leaking a lot, but I figure a full regasket should do her good. Gonna get some compression numbers. I'm just so dang sick I haven't been able to get out of bed today. Sucks :(

Looking through my receipts and found a $4100 receipt for timing chain guides done 3 years ago. Dodged a bullet there

if you're on GC coils on that car you need to bring the ass end up and lower the nose a bit. looks like you have some bodies in the trunk right now.

and, we disagree about spacing out weaves.

J, I've got 18/20mm adapters if you want to throw em on to see how they look. (and are ever in the bay)
