Bimmerfest was aiight.. It honestly sucks if you don't have people to cruise and hang with. I went for the good times, and seeing some nice e30s and some REALLY nice Classic BMWs was a bonus. Hanging out everyone the night before and doing some pretty awesome stuff cruising on the way to the Bowl was more worth it IMO

I'd have rather gone to SpencyRob's BBQ.. At least there there is free food :-P
Don't worry BAWDY(indian accent), we should all caravan down togetha next year. hopefully my e30 will be bimmerfest worthy by then

I just decided to forget the posers and perfectionist and go for the good times

Heck, I'm down for a Bavarian 500 next year with everyone. The girl might even tag along as she'd moving to San Jose Areola from Pheonix AZ for school soon. Gonna be a good run next year for sure

Yea the Bav500 was sick, coulda been better tho if there were more rev folks, but yea the ride down and just cruising around with presence of BMWs everywhere was the coolest part. Hopefully next year I'll have the turbo car ready haha

I need new tires on my weaves, I was browsing cl for a set of rims+tires and came across a set of steelies with brand new already balanced tires for $200. think it is worth it to roll around on steelies? Tires alone would cost me more then $200 I am pretty sure..

Why's spencer in time out? If they're the right size and decent tires, sure why not. Money doesn't grow on trees and if you're willing to have ugly wheels for a bit for good tires on the cheap, theres no reason not to.

I do not know if the tires are of good brand or not, but my tires are bald and they would be better than bald tires. they are brand new, which is all I know. I could always remount on my wheels.

I'd just make sure the tires are the right diameter, the steelies aren't too high an offset, and that the tires themselves are worth well above $200. You wouldn't want some badly sized chinese tires on shitty wheels that are super sunk.

Or just try to get used tires with like 80% thread and use those. Not sure how much mounting and balancing will be though. Maybe try to find some caps with decent tires, at least its not raining now so bald tires (i'm sure yours aren't complete slicks) won't be too terrible for another few days/weeks.

If you fund me buying some basketweaves frm the yard ($160 total), I'd sell you my b-caps with almost brand new (they're super old, but still have a lot of tread) tires?

                              It's a stretch, but it's worth a shot :-P
