Think about the cars they came in. Someone with an M3 is going to DRIVE their car, and the grandma that bought an automatic 325is back in the day probably wasn't on top of maintenance or changing diff fluid on time. That leaves a bunch of worn out 4.10s that the r3vtards get used and beat the shit out of on top of years of neglect lolz.

If you lift a rear wheel a Torsen goes open, then when it hits the ground again it amplifies the drivetrain shock and occasionally eats itself or another component.

Not to say it will explode because they are great diffs in their own way but I feel an actual locking diff is more stable and predictable in general. I also get annoyed at the torsen on the mustang, I don't feel it puts power down in a manner I jive with.

So I know someone here is going to bimmerfest. I saw one thread about meeting in SJ by 8 in the morning for the caravan but no one really commented the guy about it. Is that where the caravan will start? Is it a good caravan/ should I even bother? I'm going this year for the first time and I'm curious. Thanks

JNasti, I went once. never again. the guys that meet at 8am in morgan hill. they drive like 100mph down 101. wasnt fun for me since i drive speed limit+5. Bimmerfest is self was boring, no organization, wife got bored after 2 hours and we were ready to ditch after 3h.
