ohthejosh, just grab a volt meter and test out the wires. you should be able to find out how much power you are getting. you can then determine if its the correct amount, then just attach the connector to it.

I hope I'm not breaking etiquette by posting a WTB here: Hoping to secure some wheels for my E30 this week so my car can move on it's own. Prefer rims with tires. I'm in Santa Clara and will drive up to 75 miles to pick up the wheels.

Bought a 3.73 LSD today. I would keep the 4.10 but 1) it's open, 2) ill be doing a lot of commuting this summer.

On another note, nobody seems to be able to confirm or deny the simplicity of lat emodel fog wiring to early model fog lighting. I searched for threads about it to no avail. Just need to know is it as simple at brown to brown and other wire to other wire??

                LOL
I thought all e30 are already wired for it, you just need the fog light switch. Should be a plug by headlights. Even my 318 had it.

I guess it's just one of those "the more you know" type of things..

Soooo happy there's officially nothing wrong with my e30 finally.. Now I can just drive it until it starts giving me problems again..
Rev matching is actually better for your tranny than most driving. Think about it this way: rev matching is meant to make the input shaft speed the same as the speed of the gears and everything. When it's all spinning at the same speed, there's less jolting and wear on your clutch and on the gear teeth.

Out of curiosity, by Bay Area do you happen to mean sonoma county? I'm pretty sure I've either seen your car or an identical car at my work.

Yea but the early model fogs and late model fogs are different, I just wanna know if its a simple solder the wiring and thats it

                          Ill just try tomorrow
