Yeah, its fun. Its taken a lot of $$$$$$ time and effort to make it what it is. I wish I had a place I could run it. It doesn't fit in any SCCA classes (its either over or under prepared). I guess I could run with either the Lotus Club or AAS, but again no class. I guess its time to go vintage road racing again.
Its come a long way since those pics were taken. Also with that much tire under it, I might be able to find a few more seconds. I just really can't afford to play on the big track.
I might have the M3 out instead, Im also instructing at a PCA autoX school on the 29th at Alameda, I don't know if I want to deal with that much race car for the weekend.
computer geeks Im not sure what the F is going on with my laptop> its as if the shift key is stuck> that is supposed to be a period and im typing all of this with capslock on< any thoughts?
in other news< i seriously miss the bay area because of all the awesome tracks there is< down here in socal im disappointed (though i havent done anything serious to be a critic) but when i compare a track day we have here (willow springs) versus what i could be driving ie sears point or laguna seca< i get depressed>>>

I need a new fridge and the one I like costs as much as a e30 ($3000) so I keep delaying LOL.
Why does it cost so much to cool your food fuck you fridge makers.
"I wanna see da boat movie"
"I got a tree on my house"
$3000 frig? are you looking for a double wide stainless steel? if you are looking for business grade? i had a friend go to a contractor recycler and sells used and new(unused) appliances and saved thousands on their remodel. maybe you could get it for less than 2k if you look around.
Not every E30 is a race car, not every E30 needs race tires.
I have 215's on mine and it definitely puts down more power than a S50.
yes true, you are also a much more experienced driver, on a better quality suspension. having better rubber makes up for a lot of mistakes.
looking back 12 years to when I was 18, i thought i was Steve McQueen driving 100 up and down hyw9, sliding like an idiot. only age has saving me from driving fast and not using 100% of the pedal all the time.
They are so expensive because they only get to spank your ass for one every 10-15 year so they gotta get you when they can.
For that kinda money you can get the Samsung with an LCD monitor mounted in the outer door. Search Craigslist if you can pay cash outrright and dont need to finance. Ive got a truck and trailer if needed. There are actually some pretty "trick" fridges listed sometimes.
I just repaired my fridge for the Bay area place. Thought the compressor was done as it would not cool. Fan turned on and only blew hot air. Ripped it apart and was going to check the relay that switches the compressor on and off. Pulled the relay and shook it. The internals that were WAY corroded had completely disintegrated. What came out when shook looked like a carbon and plastic grit similar to the consistiency of sand.
Found the replacement relay one eBay for 21 bucks or so shipped. Installed it and BOOM. Cold as hell! What I also found was that as the condensor coils become packed with dust and lint and debris they begin to function very poorly and the compressor has to cycle on more often to keep the cold at the right temp. So with more frequent cycling the relay's contacts are always being energized and deenergized. Wearing the relay faster. Its a domino effect.
So one should always vacuum out or better yet air compressor blow out their condensor coils on the bottom of the fridge as often as is realistically possible.
