I'd be willing to throw you some cash to help me change mine! I hate jumping into a big project without prior knowledge or someone who's done it before to help with the sometimes tricky parts.

NOR-CAL General Chat.

You have pretty low NOX which means your engine is running nice and cool. High HC means too much fuel.

Since you have low NOX you can balance it out a little bit by creating a small vacuum leak, thus leaning out your mixture, raising NOX and lowering HC.

A bad cat will show high HC and high NOX. With a decent cat you can balance it out.

You would need a very small leak. A loose vacuum line could do it.

early e60s have a lot of issues from what i remember. i was looking into buying one. i came to the conclusion that they are not worth the maintenance cost to make it reliable
