My friend wants to buy a car.
He's buying it from a guy who bought it as a non running car with plans to get it back up but never got around to it so he hasn't got it smogged and therefore doesn't have the title under his name but has a bill of sale and all that. Would he basically buy the car on a bill of sale only and then once it's good to go, register it under his name? The PO released liability and the registration is current.

That's what I did with the green 2002 I bought out of SF. Owner offered me the car but she misplaced the title. She went to DMW, filled out a document, sent it to me, done. Easy.

I don't have any in stock right now, but if you look at my thread I'm setting up a group buy right now. I'm not sure, but this may be my last batch I ever do. Just because I was gettingPMS almost daily with people asking me to do it again.

gawd, i wish i could unload my 4dr. i cant take the small ass doors. and almost ever does anyone ride in the back.

I think your 4dr would be perfect for an older e30 enthusiast with young kids. They would appreciated the work you put into it so you could possibly recoup some of the cost you have into the car.

A very well sorted timeless classic that can carve up the canyons, drop the kids off at school and get the groceries all at the same time.
