On another note, a friend just got a ticket for no front license plate. It's $150 if he doesn't fix it, $25 if he does. Damn...these were like $10 a couple years ago, no?

My car's staying registered in NM. My home of record with the AF is in NM, so I can keep my car registered there. All I need done is to have my dad go to the DMV, re-register my car (since it doesn't have to be there or doesn't need emissions done until four years) and send me my new tags. Then I can get away with forced induction and swaps and everything else you Californians cry about. ;)

yeah they are like $10 but i think they tack on a processing fee so it comes out to $25. I just roll with a euro front matching my real one and have never been bothered.
