It's easy. There's 4 nuts that are decently straightforward, and then the bolt/nut combination on the front that you'll have to take apart the door cards to get to. I didn't bother with that. I'll only be using the top for emergencies (if it suddenly starts to rain, or I have to leave my car out overnight), so I didn't bother to fine tune the fitment. It almost closes though, with only the 4 bottom nuts holding it on. I can get one latch on enough that I wouldn't be worried about leaving it out overnight, and it won't leak way too much, which is all I really want.
Tips:
Take apart your rear door cards first
Don't even attempt to do this alone
If your tonneau cover shocks don't work you'll need a 3rd person to hold it up as you drop the top into the place that it sits
If you can't reach a certain nut try to move the top up a bit to see if there's a better angle to reach it
You may want to put some silicone or something to hold the nut in the socket as you put it onto the boltsThe first car I ever rode in was an e30
