if your already gonna need adapters you might as well just get the 4x100 to 5x120 IMO.
    pros:
it will open up your wheel variety for the future.
the style 5's wont be as hard to market/sell to someone.
you can always sell the adapters alone, or as a set with the wheels.

basicaly if you fill and drill you will lose money on the wheel set up indefinitely.

if you run adapters you can always get most of your money back or possibly profit depending on how good of a deal the wheels were.

Total cost of Drilling new holes for the wheels =$200 (from Team III Wheels, just drill no fill) Then MemoryFab will fill and drill for about ($300) But I would still run adapters on either option make them sit near the fenders (another $100)..

It's a bit of a dilemma, what do you guys think?

          Herb

Adapters no doubt. Get a good thickness and you basically have a 5 lug car for most intents and purposes. The brake options that come with 5 lug aren't really worth it imo. You can get good performance brakes with just a pad and rotor upgrade, and if you need more you can get BBKs without going 5 lug. Not to mention a proper e30 m3 setup is like 6 grand (cough, golde30).
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Thanks you guys! After reading all the inputs, I'm gonna order some adapters soon. I can't imagine how structurally sound re-drilling on wheels, its like a surprise three wheeling someday if I hit a hard turn lol.

BTW, who wants 318iC stock springs? I hate to see it go on a recycling center. I'll leave it in front of my house if anyone wants it..

sold? guy told me it has been sitting for a year in the same place.

anyway, I went to check it out and it's got canadian title/reg. Seems to have recent-ish suspension work and some attention to it in the past, but we had trouble getting the hood to open and the exhaust has fallen off so you can't listen to how the engine is doing.
