15" is too small for an e30. If you run a proper diameter tire (205/50 or similar) on a 16, you're gonna have quite a lot of tire. With 15's you either have balloon-ey tires or stupid looking profiles.

Many people love 15's and do not think they are too small. Lots of e30 autox or race cars have 15".

they use 15" because they're light and because tires are cheap for them (same size as spec miata), and because they can fit enough brakes for track duty under 15's.

I wonder how low my new GC's will go. Maybe I'll blow the cash for a raceskids and dump it. But I highly doubt that e36 is static. Some people may drive that low...but it's unlikely.
