How come it seems like nobody knows how to jack up an e30. Both sides of my e30 have pushed up floor boards and the jacking points are all fubar'd

spent 6 hours under the M seam sealing it and undercoating it. so tiredddd

I had to look it up on how to jack up the car. I noticed one day that the previous owner or maybe a shop he took it to either jacked it up by or put a jack stand under the fuel tank. Now theres a huge dent in it.

Well I mean, everyone knows at the very least jack a car up by something structurally strong, like the frame.

the PO of my car has destoryed both of the factory jack points and it looks as if they jacked up the car by the floor boards of both sides. They are pushed up a little.

headlight wiring is EASY!!!! i have done dozens of e30s...you guys need to invest in a simple test light, and an extra pair of hands to work the headlight/high beam controls.

cary do you wire it so that 4 lights come one when brights are on or just 2 low or 2 highs?

Quick question: I heard that you have to tighten the trailing arm bolts with it pre-loaded on the car (put the subframe on first, put the spring in, jack up the trailing arm, then tighten it in that tiny space) or they'll bind and wear out prematurely. Is this necessary? If so, could someone explain why, because it makes no sense to me...the trailing arms are always moving around, so if I bolt them on without a load on it, why would it matter?
