You're going to have to file it. Mine were the same when they did it.

I put some lube in yes.
I did not measure the housing. But I guess I can.

I don't think it is bent. I think the guy welded the top half the slightest bit off, so the strut song go in.

It took me a good while dude. Keep at it. Hopefully you're using a metal file and not a wood one.

It's more like $125, then an hour of my time, and chewed up paint.

If I was going to be putting my suspension on tonight then I would sit here with a toothbrush and get the Damn thing to work, but it isn't going in tonight.

Yeah I don't need to plow anyone, I need to do homework and study for tests

you have to file the welding seams on the inside of the tube. if it's crooked, the collar nut won't go on, and even if it does, it'll get loose and not hold your strut in.

Dmitry is right. You'll have to get a bit dirty.

I was using a fine one, I tried sand paper also. It's hard. I am going to ask my dad if he has any ideas.

He doesn't even know I bought any suspension though.

You need to use a metal rasp. A fine file won't take out the hard metal of that weld dude.
