today sucked.

Lex King posted on FB yesterday that he had a GTO LS1 for sale, told people to message him. I did. We set a deal up. I drove 2 hours, waited 6, got a text saying he sold it to someone else on the way to deliver it to me.

It's cool... I just was hoping that would be my good luck, considering the M42 head I paid $500 for came broken in the mail, I ended up eating $40 for shipping on that deal too, lol.

Got my s50 in, had a wiring issue that took forever to find. (schematics and going through each wire one by one)

Finally got the car to start, but it sounded like a diesel because of a tick. I'll post a vid later of it if you guys want.

Turns out it was the oil pump, it went bad. Then I replaced it.

Finally get the car running and drove it to school for the first time in 2 years. Later that day a coolant hose burst. And I find out from a friend that the po of the engine put used mls head gasket and used arp head studs on the engine.

I order a new mls head gasket and arp head studs to calm my worries. And I wanted to check if the head was straight. Just to be sure.

During installation of the secondary chain tensioner, one of the bolts snapped in the head before reaching 89in/lbs. I was pissed. Then next day I got the snapped piece out with zero damage anywhere.

Got a new bolt from BMW and got the motor all together.

Thats where i am at now ha. We need better luck :/

Hey guys.
I spent the afternoon today with some friends fixing the shitty rolled fender lips on my rear fenders, and then installed my mudflaps.

However in the process, I done goofed. I had the floor jack up on the diff, and as soon as I cleaned everything up and went out to dinner, I noticed my speedo wasn't working... :hitler:

Do you guys know what I might have screwed up?
It was dark as fark so I couldn't see shit, and i'll putting it back up in the air tomorrow after I hit the gym.
