And BTW, think I know where the Alfa shop is! IIRC, it's pretty close to Chris Lingle's G.A.S. shop.
I love that area (South Berkeley) a lot. Home to sooooo many cool old cars.
I also love Berkeley for the very same fact...

1221 4th Street Berkeley. If you go two or 3 blocks south (from Gilman) on 4th st you will come across Conrad Stevenson's shop. If you want to see some epic restorations of Alfa's and other rare and exotic old Italian cars, he is the guy. Its a random white house that looks pretty run down on east side of the street. Unless the sliding door is open, you will never know what lurks inside. I've been there once and he had this Alfa 750 Giulietta Sprint Veloce Lightweight (aluminum body) in there

and I think he might have been the one who restored this Alfa 8C 2900 (I think its a 2900)





He has done lots of impressive cars. If you have a vintage Italian car that you need to have restored and $ is no object, but perfection is, he is the guy to talk to.

If you guys are driving nb on 80 before Holman exit next to the target there's a shop that called Muffler Works and he does Alfas too when I went to get my exhaust done he just finished with a Guiletta sweet stuff in his tiny shop I think there was a fully restored Alfa under a cover on his second lift also

He participates in 24hr lemons with a gulf livery themes 914 I believe dope toy car collection also!
