November 23 we are doing an autoX test and tune/school at Sears Point. Yosemite Sam ran the last one and had a lot of fun even in the rain we had in the morning. If you want to come out and try it, this is a great place to do so as we have a few instructors who are willing to both ride along with you, and or have you ride along with them. Its lots of seat time. We usually have a few E30s running. Possibly a chance to have 2 E30 M3s at the next one. (I will likely have mine out and another from Sacramento might come over) Heck last year for this event we were running in the dark for the last sessions. It also started to rain bringing a while new dimension to the event.

It was loads of fun. There was no timing so you could really focus on your own driving and everybody is really helpfull. I hope to be able to make it out to this one as well.

will how much is the driving fee for that event on the 23rd?

$75 but we could use some help with both setting it up Friday and running it in the morning. If you want to help and miss the seat time in the morning we can likely work something out. You will need a helmet however.

god i hate those vehicles.

they are the new minivan and you can pretty much always count on the drivers being distracted by texting/applying makeup/etc.

No, none taken at all. They are horribly boring soul-sucks. My mom is constantly distracted by the GPS screen and applying makeup. She almost tore 3 bikers new assholes if it wasn't for me telling her to watch out. I'm surprised she hasn't killed one despite her always proudly proclaiming she's a "great driver"

It feels just sooo... Soulless to drive. Steering is bleh, handling is bleh, performance is bleh.. Everything feels detracted. Very.. Very.. uninteresting. Inside you feel like you're in some far off world that really doesn't take place in the here in now.

Even driving newer cars; I've driven Merc and BMW crossovers of roughly the same price range and at least they at least FEEL sturdier and more composed.

With my iS down, I've really been noticing the feel and ride dynamics of other cars more and more.
