Yeah. I just remembered official specs for m20 is technically 4.5q. Without running it to fill the oil cooler and filter, strictly putting 4.5q only will result in the dipstick reading at the full line. Oil cooler and filter will then suck up .5 quarts so you're technically running 4q in the case

5q is generally what I put in knowing .5 is gonna get sucked up by the filtration system. It's overfilled for that slight 10 seconds after the first start, but it evens out after the first drive after a change

Sold it for a bike. I don't make good decisions. But overall I'd rather have a motorbike than a fast car so that's still an option in the future.
