haha i have been SO out of the Mtb loop for the past 4-5 years that I don't know what's still around/what's not.

do you know any good dj's/parks in the south bay or SC?

theres cali bike park which is cool just to hangout and is really tiny and packed all the time. but theres one in pleasanton that ive only been to twice and that one is a lot bigger and way more fun. i think its just called pleasanton bike park.

I heard they build a dj section other than the meth line at carlmont but never have seen it.

I'm putting my old M3 shocks and springs on my E and the M3 front spring is longer than the E. Anyone know if this right?

the E/I/M3 springs are the same height. the m3's are stiffest. the IC springs are 1/2 taller

well my M3 springs are taller but feel stiffer, W/e it's just my daily beater because shocks are shot.
and of course nothing is going that smooth removing things.

Did some more work trying to prime the pump on my m42 today, shit's still fucked. I don't wanna replace the pump because it's just a gear that shouldn't just break and I haven't messed with it. I'm fairly certain that if I replaced the pump it wouldn't help at all.

Yeah but BAR. And then I have to source an m20, g260, driveshaft, harness, DME, exhaust, etc. Even you said I might as well just throw another m42 in it when we were texting. If anyone has all the stuff I need in excellent condition for ~1k I'll do it. But you said yourself that's not worth it. At the same time I need like 40k out of whatever engine I put in it because I wanna do a V8 after college.


EDIT: at the same time, my dad offered to let me cannibilize his car for the engine, but that seems like a very shitty idea to me. He wants the m42 for gas mileage but he might as well just put in a 2.93 and get the same result without having an awkward DB m42 vert that no one will want to buy if he ever wants to sell it.
