Inland Empire/Rancho Cucamonga...someone wanna check out a car for me?

I'm recycling this thread, so disregard any responses left before 1pm 05/23/12.

    I'm curious about this vert:

Needs some work, but looks clean and is cheap. Anyone in or around Rancho Cucamonga care to take a look at it for me?

Body ain't that bad either. I really think it's those godawful wheels that's keeping it from selling.

what about the fact that it's a diving board vert?

meh w/e bro... my diving board vert kills trash cans and cones at autocross. Problem officer? :p

And there are ways of retrofitting the diving boards to look cool.

okay cool, but in terms of market demand it's not exactly a 'hot item.'

Whatchootalkinbout? Like, 90% of e30 verts are in diving boards.

I'd lowball him and tell him he can keep the wheels and roll there with my extra set of bottlecaps

Mkchammer is right though; Verts really only cater to a very select market.. Coupes are most desirible, sedans, then verts.

Unless you have a hardtop. Then your straight baller

All's I know is I want a vert. Dont care much about being a baller. Just want a nice topless cruiser. probably wouldn't even do a whole lot of mods/upgrades.

(though I might hardtop it down the line)

i would try to buy a set of cheap bottlecaps or weaves on here or maybe at a yard and get him to drop the asking price by 500+

even if there's issues, that's a solid deal for a vert imo

yes, but for $3k you should be able to find a plastics vert, just sayin'

might actually be worth something down the line too.
