    Hello Jack,

My shop is pretty far from you down in Huntington Beach. I have a commitment to quality workmanship that speaks for itself.

I would love to do the work for you. Since I know its a hell of a drive I will do the full inspection for free and give you $50 off your first work order.

I have customers that have driven from Las Vegas and Sacramento, thats a testament to the quality of workmanship.

but if your looking for a shop, Jerick has yet to let me down. and they do EVERYTHING with the same level quality. no 'pay-off takes priority' theory here.

Our business is a very tough one to manage especially here in Los Angeles area. Shops are right next to each other doing the same thing. We all have our share of haters and admirers to deal with. It's just impossible to please everybody no matter what we do. Comparing shops is pointless, we all have our own way of thinking and doing things but at the end of the day, we just want to make sure we satisfy everybody that comes to our door.

The BMW community is huge and we can't accomodate everybody, we are lucky to have a good share of it. None of us wants to hear negative feedbacks about our shop or our service, especially on a public forums. We want issues to be settled the proper way.

Let's just be thankful to have shops and individuals that are willing to help everybody in the BMW community. Companies that still make parts and performance parts for the car that we love so much are blessings to everybody. Try building a Japanese old school car from scratch and you'll see what I mean.

Enough said..... we need to gather and enjoy :D.

^ absolutely right. for the same reasons though, criticisms should be addressed in a proper and somewhat mature fashion as well...otherwise backlash is kind of expected.

luckily, us e30 guys are blessed with multiple honest shops out here that are operated by like-minded enthusiasts.

Question for both Castro's and JMP: do you have any arrangements with local rent a car agencies?

Yes, we use Horizon rent a car. Very inexpensive and right around the block from us. But most of the time we lend out our two personal loaner cars.
