I have no idea, they're being kinda last minute with stuff, 3 weeks before and there isnt a roll in time or any sort of schedule, i've lurked multiple forums for caravans out from LA, they're all pretty dead. Idk, i feel like the hype isn't as big, even though their other stuff it usually is..

My buddy said it was $45 of you register or $50 at the gates. I think Rob is right, for the $100+ I'd rather do the T-Belt or something else to my car.

True, but the drive up there seems alot of fun and i'm most likely gonna stay in the SLO or SB area. At least you'll be down here for the picnic ;)

To be honest i never even thought of that but i mean, it's a 3 hour drive at leasttt for most people. Pretty far just to hope you get in using someone else's car which is a pretty wack thing to do.

My car is lower than 95% of the static e30s out there and I STILL dont think mine is worthy enough to enter the competition. I'm not gonna waste $50 for Mike/Ben/whoever to walk right passed my car during judging.

I say, go, pay to get in and enjoy the show. We all know some bagged mkIV gti is gonna win lol. Either that or some Mike B nut swinger with a rusted out car. It should be a great meet. Every StanceWorks meet I've been to have been very well executed.

^ there's way tougher competition these days, rust or a oem+ bagged mkiv won't even be visible with some of the shit socal has been churning out.


Regardless, people should go, even if they're not in the actual show. I'll be flying in so i wont be in a car, but you can find me in the Rennstall booth.

I sent in a photo and preregistered. Paid my $45, haven't heard anything. They were supposed to start shipping tickets on the 1st, but who knows. I thought "Eh, fuck it. If I get denied, it's refunded anyways."
